For this project that we did in Humanities we had an option to pick which country we wanted to research and create a poster about it.
Our group decided to make a poster about australia and it history. We each had several different jobs which we had to work on in lessons and in our own time. Like how I had to find images when i was at home. We did this in order to try to use lesson time on the main focuses and do the minor parts at home. However I think we could have had paragraphs that got to the point shorter and not just paragraphs and paragraphs of words.
During this project I have learned things that I didn't know before. Such as even though the British Empire sent convicts to Australia, they refused to be known as British Citizens and would rather be called Australians. I also enjoyed doing the designs on the back of the poster (But none of them got put on the front :P) and how Owen had that great looking map on the front of the poster in which I think was good because it wasn't copied and printed from the internet.
I will add more to this. Being that it is the most colourless piece of work I have done so far.
