Actively Listening

During friday in the first lesson we did something called Actively Listening. It is when you describe a picture of something to a partner. But they weren't allowed to look at the picture but the were allowed to ask question. I had to describe a brazilian hillside with simple houses and a large green forest in the background. I enjoyed this activity because It engaged me to use my Creativity and Information Processing skills when i described the houses and the layout of the picture.

Heres what my partner drew in comparasion to the original...

My Partners Drawing

The Original Picture

And my partner did the same for me and I did...

My Drawing
                                                                               --->

The Original Picture

The answers to question 7a, b, c and d.

A. My drawing was sort of accurate but I could've asked more questions to make it a lot clearer to think and draw.

B. It was accurate but he put everything the opposite way round. With the midway line going through the the wrong diagonal. But everything was included with the forest and the houses.

C. I found it easy to easy to describe the picture with it in front of my and i don't think that my partners picture wouldn't have been as good if i didn't have the picture.

D. I found it easier to draw because my partner kept on telling me what was in it and it was easy to understand what he was trying to tell me and describing wasn't hard but it wasn't as enjoyable as drawing a picture.
